“To the District 4 constituents reading this who seek to elect me to the Boston City Council, I am fighting for the privilege and honor of representing you. To uplift your voice (not mine) and your needs (not mine) in the City Council above all else. I seek to be your public servant and my skin is getting thicker every day in preparation for the challenging road ahead – I am MORE equipped to do right by you. I am MORE equipped to problem solve for you with every NO that I have to navigate around.” – Jeff Durham

I am a Democrat and Candidate for the Boston City Council District 4. If elect my priorities in office is to provide excellent constituent service, making government more accountable, open, and transparent, advocating for new school construction, expanding land preservation, improving transportation across the district, and promoting economic revitalization in established communities.

Yes, we are thriving, but we have much more work to do. We need to work to preserve the livability and the character of our neighborhoods while growth and new development continue around them.

I have been publicly fighting for local issues and rights for the last 17 years. I have been a champion on issues ranging from minority & women’s rights and religious freedoms, to just cleaning up the streets! Through my community relationships I fosters personal relationships with non-profit businesses through Boston’s politicians, as well as many other small businesses. I uses my voice to shatter the glass ceilings put up by the establishment.  I am deeply rooted in this community, where I’ve proudly raises my family.

I pledge to you, that I will make sure that the efforts of this District 4 Council exude a spirit of transparency, openness and accountability.

I recognize it can’t be done without you. Join the campaign, join the team of volunteers on attending council meetings, debates, forums, standouts, telephone conversations, stuffing envelopes, most of all give us your input. The Neighborhoods of Dorchester, Mattapan, Roslindale and Jamaica Plain, need to be inform, and engage.

Growing up in poverty with parents frequently working 2-3 jobs, I discovered I had the resilience and drive to overcome adversity and achieve success. From the ground up, I Co-founded PERSONIFYD MEDIA Entertainment Consulting Group. Through PERSONIFYD MEDIA I provided the community with access to a self sufficient lifestyle through wraparound services, transformative educational programs, and generous charitable contributions. After successfully launching PERSONIFYD MEDIA, I immediately began to pour back into the community by offering services to nonprofits committed to improving the life trajectory of marginalized people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
